Gooree Cup Day
TAB Saddle-Up Sundays keeps the fun coming with one of the most enjoyable race days west of the Blue Mountains. The 1600 metre Gooree Cup is the feature event, sponsored by Gooree Park Stud and Winery, and racing throughout the afternoon is extremely competitive.

It’s Your Track, Your Country
Get out your Sunday best for the highly popular Fashions-on-the-Field which will include categories for men, women and children so the whole family can get involved. To get involved in Saddle-Up Sundays register your interest with RNSW.

Make Tracks To The Country
The picturesque racecourse is on the northern side of Mudgee. Take Church Street, cross the Cudgegong River and follow Ulan Road for 1 km and the racecourse is on your right. Mudgee is less than a 4-hour drive from Sydney. Cross the Blue Mountains to Lithgow and follow the signs on Highway 86 for 120km to Mudgee.

There’s More To See
Mudgee has a well-deserved reputation for fine food and excellent wine. Local produce includes olives, honey, hazelnuts, free-range pork and venison. This was the first region to plant and grow chardonnay and merlot grapes. At least 35 wineries in the Mudgee region are open for cellar-door sales, with many boutique vineyards offering products unavailable elsewhere. Gooree Park and Wild Oats wineries are strong sponsors of the Mudgee Race Club. Mudgee’s rich pastoral history is reflected in its heritage streetscapes and museums, with immaculate colonial era buildings making this one of the most attractive rural towns in NSW.
